Bieber Fever in the Southeast

Our Bieber Fever in the Southeast bull sale is just over a week away on Thursday, October 25 at Chatel Farms in Reidsville, GA.  We are excited to travel to the Southeast part of the country to offer 60 eighteen-month-old Red Angus bulls that have the shape and style you want, with the data and traits you need!

We are selling these bulls alongside fifteen eighteen-month-old Red Brangus bulls from Red Bud Farms out of Arkansas and 35 Red Angus commercial heifers from Frank Howey Farms in North Carolina. This is our first venture bringing the bulls directly to our customers in the area, and we are excited for the opportunity.

We decided to host this sale for a number of reasons. The first reason was because of our commitment to breeding for the traits that are important to our customers. One of those important traits was our cattles' ability to shed properly in hot conditions. This shedding ability makes them the ideal livestock to be raised in warm climates like the Southeastern United States.  When they don't overheat, they breed back better and raise better calves. Another reason is the increased demand for high quality carcass merit genetics. It can be difficult to travel the long distance to the plains of South Dakota, so we wanted to bring these genetics right to your doorstep. Thirdly, we developed a solid relationship with Chatel Farms and FPL foods that will benefit our customers and their operations. They've developed a Branded Beef Program where they will buy back the calves of any Red Angus bulls purchased in our sale if they meet the requirements outlined in our catalog (See page 4).

For all of these reasons, we are hosting our first Bieber Fever in the Southeast sale! Our catalog is up and available by clicking here or going to the sale page on this website. Videos of the sale lots will be available next week.

Below you can see photos of our top nine lots, which will sell in lot number order. Beyond that, we will determine and post our sale order by Wednesday, October 24. Please call us if you have any questions - we can't wait to see you in Georgia!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...in October?

We had a blustery second week of October at the Ranch! A cold front moved in that brought us several inches of snow while we were busy with sale prep for the Bieber Fever Fall Female Production Sale.

During the snowy days, we ultrasounded our summer cows and clipped our sale cattle.  We were also busy getting ready to take photos for the fall sale and finishing up the catalog. As many of you know, there's no rest for the weary when it comes to sale season! We blazed ahead and the snow has since melted, bringing back some of our much needed fall season...for now!

The sale is only a few weeks away on November 8! You can download a copy of the catalog by clicking here
