Craig and Peggy Receive Honors

Yesterday, both Craig and Peggy were honored at the Beef Improvement Federation Annual Convention in Brookings, SD.

Craig received the Continuing Service Award for his long-standing record of service in the beef industry. He has served is many capacities for the Red Angus Association and he currently serves on the South Dakota Beef Industry Council and for the US Meat Export Federation. He was also the 2015-2016 President of the Beef Improvement Federation. He received thisaward due to his dedication to serving the beef industry and his constant drive for improving beef cattle.

Peggy was also recognized for her hard work in fundraising and organizing this year's Beef Improvement Federation Annual Convention. Peggy helped gather sponsorship commitments during the planning stages and is there to make sure every detail goes as planned.

Congratulations to both Craig and Peggy for being recognized!

Loading Bulls

It's time to come home! Yesterday, we pulled our natural service bulls from each of our cow groups in the pasture. After sorting the bulls off from the cows, we load them into the trailer. Our herd bulls have great disposition and load easily in the middle of the pasture.

Happy Father's Day!

"A father is neither an anchor to hold us back, nor a sail to take us there, but a guiding light whose love shows us the way."

Happy Father's Day to all of the fathers out there, but especially to those dads we have here at Bieber Red Angus. May your day be filled with love, laughter, and well wishes from the ones you love!

Cows to Pasture

It's a beautiful day for greener pastures! We moved a group of our pairs to a different part of the ranch this morning as part of our practice of rotational grazing. We believe rotational grazing improves the health of the soil and natural grassland by allowing the plants sufficient time to grow back after grazing.

This practice is carefully managed by our team to conserve the land and promote a more sustainable operation. Happy grazing!

Moving Bulls to Pasture

Is there any better view than red cattle on green grass? We don't think so! Today we moved our summer bulls to greener pastures away from our home base after ultrasounding and gain testing were completed. These bulls will stay on grass until fall when they are offered in one of two sales, Bieber Fever in the Southeast and the Bieber Fever Fall Production Sale.

We hope you're enjoying the warmer weather and the start of summer as much as these boys are!
