Video Day in Georgia

It's video day in Georgia! Keep checking our page for more sale updates and info on when and where you can find our bull videos.

Weaning Calves

It's hard to believe we are already more than halfway through the month of September, and on the Ranch, that means it's weaning time!

This week we've been busy working, scanning, and weighing all of our spring-born calves. All of the calves receive wart vaccine, Somubac, Dectomax Injectable, and CattlActive oral. The heifer calves also receive Bovi-Shield Gold 5L5HB while the bull calves receive Bovi-Shield Gold 5. After weaning, the calves are moved to our Hoop barns while the cows are put back out to pasture.

These videos show our working process on the bull calves.

Congratulations Ammann Red Angus!

This week, Red Angus producers from across the country are attending the National Red Angus Convention in Dubuque, IA.

During the Commercial Cattlemen's Symposium portion of the event, Rick and Shelly Ammann of Ammann Red Angus were honored with a Grid Master Award for their dedication to marketing exceptional cattle that excel in both quality and yield. Only the most genetically capable Red Angus herds have the ability to produce carcasses that meet the Grid Master requirements, making this a very prestigious award.

Rick and Shelly are customers of Bieber Red Angus and utilize Bieber genetics in their program. Congrats to Ammann Red Angus!

Honoring 9/11

"Terrorist attacks can shake the foundations of our tallest buildings, but they cannot touch the foundation of America." - George W. Bush

On this day 18 years ago, our strength as a nation was tested and the safety of our people was threatened. Instead of faltering, we rose as one nation under God, indivisible. Today we remember all those Americans that lost their lives, their loved ones, and the first responders that selflessly came to their aid. We will never forget.

Throwback Thursday Honoring Ron Bieber

Today's Throwback Thursday goes out to our very own Ron Bieber. Ron founded Bieber Red Angus back in 1968, and has always kept an eye out for ideas that could make the ag and beef industries better – putting him on the cutting edge of his craft. His constant hard work, his passion for what he does, and his focus on continuous improvement not just for himself, but for those around him, is part of what has brought our operation to where we are today.

Ron is a true innovator, and his practices and ideals will influence future generations of farmers and ranchers. Cheers to the man who started it all!

Happy Labor Day!

"A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination, and hard work."

Labor Day is a a federal holiday taht began in the late 19th century. It honors the American labor movements and the power of workers as a whole, who are essential for the workings of society.

On this day, we thank our ranch team for the hard work and dedication they exhibit on a daily basis. We truly wouldn't be able to accomplish everything we do without them, and they deserve as much credit as anyone for the success we have experienced at Bieber Red Angus.

We also recognize all farmers and ranchers who get up every day and work towards their dreams, regardless of the weather, market prices, and any other obstacles that may stand in their way.

Happy Labor Day!
