Sires

Bieber Jumpstart J137
Jumpstart was the single most sought-after Red Angus bull in the 2022 sale season, commanding $185,000 to Select Sires and a number of other partners in our Spring Performance Bull Sale. This bull combines elite data with exceptional phenotype. Very few sires offer as much power and muscle shape as he does, yet still rank among the best in the breed for calving ease. Not only is he a true ‘specimen’ in terms of his physcial appearance, but he also has a number set that’s projected to offer improvement in nearly every trait. Check out video of his dam, Bieber Gallee 390G here: https://youtu.be/NAB1A7fdJHk

Bieber CL Stockmarket E119
Stockmarket E119 has hit the breed with an outcross pedigree that provides an opportunity to make multi-trait improvement and add phenotype. He offers calving ease with great performance and great carcass. We’ve really liked what we see in the phenotype of the daughters. They have a lot of brood cow characteristics with great udders. His progeny are long bodied with a lot of rib and great hoof shape. Stockmarket is on track to be one of the most heavily used bulls in the Red Angus breed and with good reason. This bull and his progeny do a lot right!

Bieber CL Energize F121
Energize has been one of the most talked about sires - red or black - at Origen in Montana this summer. Energize blends an outstanding growth curve with outstanding GridMaster values. His sire Atomic’s daughters have been impressive and we have no doubt with the Adelle cowline in his pedigree the Energize daughters will continue to impress. He has a lot of body and dimension and has a bold spring of rib and great foot structure. His dam sold last fall in our production sale and topped the sale with her data and production record. We expect great things from this sire and the progeny we are offering in this sale are just the front end of a lot of great cattle to come over the next few years.

Bieber Maximus E294
Maximus is a leading son out of a proven staple in our program - Spartacus A193. He is our growth leader and when you come to look at the offering you will like how stout the progeny out of him are! He leads the breed on growth data, so if you want to use him on cows for more pounds on your calves, he will do that and do it well. His dam was a very productive cow that raised two sons we have used in our program - Iron Warrior (outlined below) and Maximus E254. Both Maximus and the progeny he produces have the same quiet disposition that his sire Spartacus A193 is famous for. We are excited to see what his calves will do in the years to come.

Bieber Blue Chip H302
Blue Chip H302 was the second high-selling bull in the 2021 Spring Production Sale going to Select Sires. His dam produces a lot of style and we are certain Blue Chip will not disappoint. He was added to the Select Sires line up as a sure shot calving ease sire, but also offers growth and carcass.

Bieber Forefront B281
Forefront B281 is a bell ringer for disposition with GridMaster in the top 4%. His dam, Laura 112W, was a leading donor for several years. Forefront offers calving ease deluxe with a great set of carcass data. His progeny will likely be some of the best maternal cattle you will find.

PIE Asset 1276
We bought Asset 1276 from the Pieper sale in 2020. Asset’s dam is the famed PIE Ruby 520 cow who is also the dam of Quarterback and several high selling bulls from the Pieper program. The Resource line is known for its great maternal qualities and for producing females that really work in a range environment.

Bieber CL Atomic C218
Atomic is in the top 10% of the breed for HerdBuilder and top 5% for calving ease and BW. As the high seller in our 2016 Production Sale, we used him heavily. His dam, 308Y, is an impressive Sequoya daughter with a 108 MPPA. Atomic is an easy moving sire with the kind of soft structure that we feel will increase cowherd longevity.

Bieber Spartan E639
Bieber Spartan E639 was the high-selling bull in our 2018 Fall Production Sale. He blends a -3.3 birth weight EPD with good growth and a heap of added marbling. The Oly 903 daughters have been phenomenal and this bull’s dam is an impressive prospect for our donor pen. This Spartacus and Oly cross caught our eye immediately in the pen. He offers a moderate frame with a really thick end. Producers will appreciate his type and kind along with his great feet and structure.

Bieber Let's Roll B563
Let’s Roll is one of our leading choices to replace Rollin Deep with his outstanding dam, Basin Primrose 2043. His data makes him a go to bull with more carcass, and the maternal traits we have seen from his dam, half-sisters and progeny are very desirable We really do believe that with disciplined selection and breeding you can have it all, and Let’s Roll is a prime example of that.

Bieber Rollin Deep Y118
Rollin Deep has been one of those rare sires that truly elevates the breed. He was an impressive individual from the start, posting outstanding data with one of the deepest phenotypes we had ever seen. His progeny proved impressive and our customers found that his sons complimented their programs and added muscle, great data, and superior style. Our attention then turned towards his daughters who continue to do an outstanding job. Rollin Deep has become the epitome of our program with 120 daughters in the herd and over 1300 progeny registered with the RAA. His influence has been felt across the breed and we have several great sons that are now making their own mark on the industry.

Bieber Hard Drive Y120
Hard Drive Y120 sold to Select Sires in our 2013 production sale. When you study Hard Drive's data you are pretty hard pressed to find a sire that will post as many traits in as high of percent rank as he does. Hard Drive has went lower on B, and high on growth so expect his progeny to be in high demand. We weaned over 180 Hard Drive calves this fall and we expect that he has a son or hopefully tow that will rise to the top in 2016.

PIE Stockman 4051
Stockman is a bull worth looking at! His dam is an outstanding Red Angus female with a 105 MPPA, a BW ratio average of 91, and a WW ratio average of 105. His progeny have great shape and are very easy to notice - which is why we were not surprised when his first AI sire group of sons moved to the top end of the bulls during testing.

Bieber Spartacus A193
Spartacus is a complete bull that will leave any breeding program in a very good position going forward. His data is hard to match for both seedstock and commercial cattlemen and his progeny have that extra look that everyone wants in their calf crop. Many of our customers have tied into his sons, and those feeder cattle will be in high demand. His daughters look to be some of the best females we have in our herd. Everyone is very pleased with the disposition on his progeny as they offer a great temperament. With over 1,000 registered calves to his credit, the new BOLT EPDs have proven that he is one of the more balanced sires in the breed.

Bieber Gladiator C386
Gladiator is the leading son of Spartacus A193 and is also out of the famed Bieber Laura 158W, the dam of Hard Drive Y120. We have used three sons out of Laura 158W and we are convinced they will continue to move our and our customers’ genetics towards profitability. Gladiator has breed leading carcass and growth that produces excellent performance-based progeny.

Bieber Roosevelt W384
Cattlemen appreciate the power and type that come out of Roosevelt’s progeny. His sons and daughters are good fleshing with added depth and exceptional disposition. Roosevelt has produced many sons that have gone on to have a huge impact on the breed, including Bieber Rollin Deep Y118.

Bieber Deep End B597
Deep End combines Rollin Deep with the great Laura 158W cow, who is also the dam of Bieber Hard Drive Y120. His data puts him at the top of the breed in several traits including WW and YW and he offers GridMaster in the top 2%. Deep End’s data will put his progeny in a very good position for profit and we are convinced this sire could replace his sire with even better carcass data. We expect to see a lot of his progeny in the coming year and he is likely to have a strong influence across the breed.

Bieber H Hughes W109
H Hughes is without a doubt our go to sire for calving ease. We didn’t have many progeny last year but we made up for lost time this year with 87 sons tested. That is probably the most calves we have had in our program from any one sire ever. Hughes comes with great CE and low BW. We really think the daughters will be great cows.
